DESCRIPTION
What it is
The Claber Metal 60 is a two-wheeled all-metal hose reel cart for medium-sized gardens. It holds up to 85m of 1/2" hose and comes with a universal coupling and a hose clip. The hose is sold separately.
How it works
It comes as a kit and assembles without tools. Connect your hose to the coupling on the drum, wind it on with the handle, then connect the inlet to your tap with a short lead. Wheel it to where you need it, pull off as much hose as you want, and wind it back when you're done.
Why it works well
- Metal stands up to years of use better than plastic carts.
- Silent-Block mounts stop the parts wearing against each other.
- The big wheels roll easily over lawns and gravel.
Specification
- Capacity 85m of 1/2", 60m of 5/8" or 40m of 3/4" hose.

- Winding manual.
- Materials painted steel drum and frame with epoxy treatment, PP sides.
- Size 527 x 883 x 430mm, 6.2kg.

Wide range of items at fair prices – some site wanted £14 for end stops. This is FAR more reasonable.
Efficient and reasonably priced. A useful change from the usual six-hole type for certain kinds of watering.
Excellent product
I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
Decided whilst my lawn was being levelled that I would pop a few sprinkles around the edge of the lawn spraying in. Now i just need the hose pipe ban to finish before I can start to use them.
Perfect for use when i am away in Spain, perfect for my large indoor plants.
This is a great kit, got it delivered quickly and up and running over the weekend just before we go on holiday. Great Kit.
