DESCRIPTION
What it is
The Claber Rotoroll Evolution 8697 is a wall-mounted automatic hose reel with 30m of 1/2" hose. Its Slow Rewind system winds the hose back in smoothly, and the reel swings 180° on its bracket.
How it works
Fix the bracket to the wall with the screws and plugs supplied, hang the reel on it, and connect the 2m lead to your tap with the 3/4" tap connector. Pull out as much hose as you need. When you've finished, give it a gentle tug and Slow Rewind winds it back in smoothly.
Why it works well
- There's no winding by hand and no tangled hose on the patio.
- Slow Rewind brings the hose back under control, so it doesn't whip.
- The bracket swings through 180°, so you can reach both sides of the garden.
Specification
- Hose 30m x 1/2", non-deformable with an anti-friction surface.
- Rewind automatic, Slow Rewind.
- Connections 3/4" inlet thread, Quick-Click, Aquastop.
- Nozzle concentrated jet and cone spray, open/close.
- Fixing wall bracket, swings 180°.

Wide range of items at fair prices – some site wanted £14 for end stops. This is FAR more reasonable.
Efficient and reasonably priced. A useful change from the usual six-hole type for certain kinds of watering.
Excellent product
I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
Decided whilst my lawn was being levelled that I would pop a few sprinkles around the edge of the lawn spraying in. Now i just need the hose pipe ban to finish before I can start to use them.
Perfect for use when i am away in Spain, perfect for my large indoor plants.
This is a great kit, got it delivered quickly and up and running over the weekend just before we go on holiday. Great Kit.
