DESCRIPTION
Turn a corner neatly at the edge of a bed or where the pipe goes up a wall. Pipe gets pulled tight at corners, and a push-on barb can work loose under that strain. Here a nut clamps each end, so the bend holds.
Specifications
- Type: 90° elbow, 13mm both ends.
- Pipe: 1/2" supply pipe, 13mm inside and 16mm outside diameter. Fits Hozelock, Claber, Gardena and Rain Bird 13mm pipe.
- Anti-leak: a compression nut clamps the pipe onto the barb, so the joint can't blow off or weep. No tools, and no hot water needed.
- Material: polypropylene.
- Size: 64.5 x 64.5mm, 25g.
- Burying: fine once tightened. Run the water and check for drips first.
Fitting
Cut the pipe at the corner. Unscrew the nut and slide it over the end of the pipe. Push the pipe fully onto the barb, then screw the nut down hand-tight. Don't use a spanner, as it can crack the nut. To take it apart, unscrew the nut and pull the pipe off.

Excellent product
I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
