DESCRIPTION
The joint at the tap takes full mains pressure every time the water comes on, which is where push-on fittings most often pop off. This connector screws onto your tap or water timer and clamps 13mm supply pipe with a compression nut, so it stays sealed.
Specifications
- Inlet: 3/4" BSP female thread.
- Fits: most UK outside taps with a threaded outlet, and water timers with a 3/4" outlet.
- Outlet: 13mm (1/2") LDPE supply pipe.
- Anti-leak: a compression nut clamps the pipe onto the barb, so the joint can't blow off or weep. No tools, and no hot water needed.
Installation
Screw the connector onto the tap or timer by hand. Then unscrew the nut, slide it over the end of the pipe, push the pipe fully onto the barb and screw the nut down hand-tight. Don't use a spanner.
Use it with
- 3-Zone Water Timer.
- 13mm supply pipe, in 15m, 25m or 50m rolls.
- 4mm tap/timer connector, to run micro tube straight from the tap.

I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
