DESCRIPTION
Join two lengths of 13mm supply pipe and take a 4mm micro tube off at the same point. Compression nuts clamp both ends of the main pipe, so the joint stays sealed, even buried under soil or mulch. The 4mm side outlet feeds a micro tube, dripper or spray exactly where you need it.
Specifications
- Main connections: 13mm (1/2") LDPE supply pipe in and out, with a compression nut on each end.
- Side outlet: 4mm barb, for micro tube or a dripper or spray fitted directly.
- Fits: Hozelock, Claber, Gardena and Rain Bird 13mm supply pipe.
- Fitting: hand-tight, no tools. Undo it to move, reuse or flush the line.
- Can be buried: under soil, bark or mulch.
Fitting
Unscrew the nut and slide it over the end of the pipe. Push the pipe fully onto the barb, then screw the nut down hand-tight. Do the same on the other side, then push your micro tube onto the 4mm outlet. To take it apart, unscrew the nut and pull the pipe off.
Use it with
- Twin-outlet version, to feed two micro tubes from one joint.
- 4/6mm micro supply tube, to run from the outlet to your pots or drippers.
- The full anti-leak range: elbows, tees, joiners and stop ends.

I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
