DESCRIPTION
What it is
The Claber Colibri 90220 is a small pop-up lawn sprinkler that waters a half circle up to about 4.5m out. It's the one to use along the edges of the lawn, beside a path, patio, wall or border.
How it works
Dig the head in so its top sits level with the lawn, and screw it onto a 1/2" threaded fitting on your supply pipe: a 91017 or 91072 tee partway along a run, or a 91019 elbow at the end. When the water comes on, the nozzle rises 5cm and waters; when it goes off, the head drops back out of the way of the mower.
Why it works well
- It waters the lawn without soaking the path or the house wall.
- It works at low pressure, using only about 3.3 litres a minute at 2 bar.
- The range screw lets you pull the throw in to fit your lawn.
- Fit a guard collar to keep soil out of the head.

Excellent product
I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
Decided whilst my lawn was being levelled that I would pop a few sprinkles around the edge of the lawn spraying in. Now i just need the hose pipe ban to finish before I can start to use them.
