DESCRIPTION
Fit the Hozelock 2185 AquaStop connector on the accessory end of your hose. When you unclip a spray gun, nozzle, sprinkler or lance, the built-in valve shuts the water off, so you can swap tools without getting soaked or walking back to the tap.
Specifications
- AquaStop valve: water stops as soon as an accessory is unclipped.
- Hose sizes: 12.5mm (1/2") and 15mm (5/8").
- Grip: compression nut and grip teeth hold the hose tight.
- Materials: acetal (Delrin) body, ABS valve and sleeve, polypropylene grip teeth.
- Connection: clicks onto all Hozelock-style accessories.
- Pack: single or twin pack.
Fitting
Unscrew the collar, push the hose fully onto the connector, then screw the collar back down hand-tight. Click your gun, nozzle or sprinkler on, and pull back the sleeve to release it.
Use it with
- Hozelock 2166 hose end connector, for the tap end of the hose.
- Hozelock 2175 tap connector.
- Metal Pro connectors, if you want brass fittings.

I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
