DESCRIPTION
Connect a hose to a tap with no thread. The rubber seal fits over the spout and the adjustable stainless steel clip tightens around it, then your hose clicks straight on.
Specifications
- Fits: unthreaded taps, round or oval spouts 14–18mm across.
- Use: indoor or outdoor taps.
- Clip: adjustable stainless steel, removable.
- Connection: universal male click end, for Hozelock-style hose connectors.
- Fitting: no tools needed.
Fitting
Push the connector over the spout, then tighten the clip until the seal grips firmly. Click your hose end connector on.
Use it with
- 2177 mixer tap connector, for mixer taps or 20–24mm spouts.
- 2166 hose end connector.

Excellent product
I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
Decided whilst my lawn was being levelled that I would pop a few sprinkles around the edge of the lawn spraying in. Now i just need the hose pipe ban to finish before I can start to use them.
