DESCRIPTION
What it is
Rain Bird DBM connectors make a waterproof joint between the wires from your irrigation controller and your solenoid valves. They're designed for valve boxes and direct burial.
How it works
Push the wire ends into the connector and squeeze it closed. It cuts through the insulation and seals the joint against water, with no stripping or taping.
Why it works well
- Wet joints are a common cause of valve faults; these keep water out.
- They're quicker to fit than strip-and-tape joints.
- They're made for 24V AC valve wiring.

I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
Decided whilst my lawn was being levelled that I would pop a few sprinkles around the edge of the lawn spraying in. Now i just need the hose pipe ban to finish before I can start to use them.
