DESCRIPTION
What it is
The guard collar is a ring that sits round the top of a Claber Colibri pop-up sprinkler, level with the lawn. It stops soil, sand and grass clippings falling in around the head.
How it works
Slip the collar over the top of the pop-up when you set it in the ground, so it rests flush with the turf. Each time the sprinkler rises and drops back, the collar keeps the gap round it clean.
Why it works well
- Pop-ups that jam with grit stop rising properly or stick up; the collar helps prevent that.
- It sits flush, so you can mow straight over it.
- It fits the Colibri 90210, 90220 and 90230.

I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
