DESCRIPTION
What it is
The Claber 90844 is a wireless rain sensor for Claber's Bluetooth timers and valves. When it rains, it pauses the watering programme so the garden isn't watered in a downpour.
How it works
Fix it outdoors, somewhere open to the rain, using the support supplied, and pair it with your timer in the myClaber app. When about 5mm of rain has collected in the sensor, it stops the programme. Once the water in the sensor has evaporated, watering starts again at the next set time.
Why it works well
- It saves water by not watering when nature has already done it.
- There's no cable, so you can site it wherever it'll catch the rain.
- Setup is done in the same app you use to program the timer.

Excellent product
I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
Decided whilst my lawn was being levelled that I would pop a few sprinkles around the edge of the lawn spraying in. Now i just need the hose pipe ban to finish before I can start to use them.
