DESCRIPTION
What it is
The Claber Aquadue Duplo 8410 is a battery tap timer with two outlets, so you can water two areas from one outside tap on separate schedules. For example, it can run the lawn sprinkler in the morning and the drip line on the patio pots in the evening.
How it works
Screw the Duplo onto your 3/4" outside tap and connect a hose or watering system to each outlet. Set when and how long each outlet runs, then leave the tap turned on. The timer opens and closes each outlet itself.
Why it works well
- It waters two areas from one tap, with no need for a separate splitter.
- Each outlet has its own programme.
- It can skip watering after rain with the optional rain sensor.
Specification
- Tap connection: 3/4" female BSP inlet.
- Outlets: 2 x 1/2", with Quick-Click connections.
- Working pressure: 0.5–10 bar.
- Manual watering: run either outlet for 15 to 60 minutes.
- Filter: washable stainless steel mesh.
- Power: one 9V battery (not included). A fresh one typically lasts a full season. Try the Duracell 9V PP3.
- Rain sensor: compatible with the Claber 90915 rain sensor (sold separately), which skips watering after rain.
Winter care
Bring the timer indoors before the first frost, and take the battery out until spring.

Excellent product
I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
Decided whilst my lawn was being levelled that I would pop a few sprinkles around the edge of the lawn spraying in. Now i just need the hose pipe ban to finish before I can start to use them.
