DESCRIPTION
What it is
The Claber 90915 is a wired rain sensor for Claber tap timers. It pauses the watering programme when it rains, so the garden isn't watered in wet weather.
How it works
Fit it outdoors, somewhere open to the rain, with the stainless steel bracket supplied, and plug its cable into the timer. When about 5mm of rain has collected in the sensor, it stops the programme. Once the water in the sensor has evaporated, the programme runs again at the next set time.
Why it works well
- It saves water by skipping watering after rain.
- It works on its own, with nothing to remember to switch off.
- The stainless steel bracket won't rust outdoors.

Excellent product
I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
Decided whilst my lawn was being levelled that I would pop a few sprinkles around the edge of the lawn spraying in. Now i just need the hose pipe ban to finish before I can start to use them.
