DESCRIPTION
Turn one run down, or off, without touching the rest of the system. Fit it in-line on your 13mm supply pipe to balance a system where one area gets too much water, or to isolate a section you're working on.
Specifications
- Type: in-line flow control, 13mm both ends.
- Adjusts: from full flow to off.
- Pipe: 1/2" supply pipe, 13mm inside and 16mm outside diameter. Fits Hozelock, Claber, Gardena and Rain Bird 13mm pipe.
- Anti-leak: a compression nut clamps the pipe onto the barb, so the joint can't blow off or weep. No tools, and no hot water needed.
- Material: polypropylene, with rubber seals.
- Size: 101 x 46mm, 30g.
Fitting
Cut the pipe where you want the valve. Unscrew the nut and slide it over the end of the pipe. Push the pipe fully onto the barb, then screw the nut down hand-tight. Don't use a spanner, as it can crack the nut. To take it apart, unscrew the nut and pull the pipe off. Turn the handle to set the flow.

I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
