DESCRIPTION
What it is
The Hozelock 2778 is a straight connector for 4mm micro tube. It joins two lengths of tube end to end, to extend a run or repair a tube that's been cut.
How it works
Cut out any damaged section so both ends are clean and square. Push one end of the tube onto each side of the connector until it's fully home. That's it: no tools or glue.
Why it works well
- It's a quick fix for a tube nicked by a spade or strimmer.
- It lets you lengthen a run to reach a new pot.
- It's rated to 3 bar and UV-protected.

I thought I had submitted a report about this but, yes, it is good and doing the job I bought it for, taking water from three or four large water butts to irrigate a polytunnel system of two ground lines feeding two rows of tomato plants. Just what I need.
